Design Lab 101 is an introductory online interior design course created specifically for high school students who are curious about the world of design and considering future study or career opportunities within the creative industries.
Developed by interior designer Jill Rogers, who has over 30 years of industry experience, the course provides students with practical, hands-on learning while offering valuable insight into what a career in interior design actually involves.
Importantly, this course is not designed solely for students intending to attend university. It is equally valuable for students who are still exploring their future options, those considering vocational pathways, and students who simply thrive in creative, practical learning environments.
Many highly creative students do not necessarily fit the traditional academic pathway.
Design Lab 101 provides these students with an opportunity to develop confidence, discover their strengths and explore careers that value creativity, problem-solving and visual thinking.
