Jill Rogers brings more than thirty years of experience across residential, commercial, aged-care and hospitality design. Her diverse portfolio includes hotels, mountain lodges, a stately home in the United Kingdom, a London apartment and a Pacific Island resort.

Her work has featured in leading Australian home design magazines, including Australian House & Garden, alongside several published articles on design. Jill was also a regular guest on the local lifestyle television show Brisbane Extra, sharing practical design tips and carrying out makeovers.

In the early 2010s, Jill wrote and delivered a highly successful home design course for homeowners building or renovating which was delivered across Queensland.

For the past fifteen years, Jill has been focused on mostly residential interior design mainly in South-East Queensland.

Today, Jill’s greatest priority is helping the next generation of aspiring designers pursue formal study and build successful careers. Through Design Lab 101, she draws on her extensive experience to introduce students to the many facets of interior design, gain insight into life as an interior designer and help them prepare for further study.

Recognising the time and financial commitment involved in gaining a formal qualification, Jill aims to give students a clear understanding of the industry—and the confidence to decide whether it is the right path for them.
